DANCER 4.5.0 Demonstrates Battlefield Effectiveness Ahead of Eurosatory 2026

DANCER 4.5.0 is a fixed-wing interceptor drone designed to counter high-speed aerial threats. According to YARTURA CEO Oleh Bukarenko, the company’s priority from the outset was to ensure the system could be integrated quickly into Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) units.

“Seamless integration and scalability within existing AFU capabilities have been central to our development approach,” Bukarenko said. “That includes not only logistics, supply and manufacturing, but also personnel training, integration with situational-awareness systems, and interoperability with primary target-detection assets.”

He added that a high degree of automation was another key priority.

"We deliberately pursued a high level of automation because it significantly reduces training requirements and accelerates deployment. The more autonomous the system, the faster operators can become proficient and the more efficiently combat units can scale their capabilities," he explained.

The company highlights several operational advantages of the platform.

High Degree of Autonomy
The system incorporates an autonomous guidance module capable of automated takeoff and target engagement based on data received from integrated detection systems. This reduces operator workload during missions.

Integration with Existing Detection Systems
DANCER 4.5.0 can operate with a range of primary air-threat detection tools, including radar and acoustic systems. YARTURA says its next development step is to combine multiple data sources within a single guidance and control system for crews.

Rapid Scalability
The platform’s high level of automation reduces training time and supports faster deployment of new crews. A standard crew consists of three people: a pilot, a target spotter and a driver-sapper.
According to the company, operators with basic fixed-wing UAV experience can learn to use the system within several weeks.

YARTURA is also continuing to develop LTE-based control technology intended to allow a single operator to manage several interceptors at once.

YARTURA has presented its products through Brave1 and is a resident of Defence City as well as a member of the National Association of Ukrainian Defence Industries (NAUDI).

The company says participation in Ukraine’s defence innovation ecosystem has supported continued product development and battlefield validation.
Combat-Proven Performance

According to YARTURA, DANCER 4.5.0 has completed field trials and demonstrated its effectiveness in combat conditions. The next step, the company says, is codification in line with NATO standards.

DANCER 4.5.0 will be showcased at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, where the YARTURA team will be available at 5B, E250 Stand. Visitors will be able to review the platform’s capabilities, learn about the company’s broader portfolio and discuss the international prospects for Ukrainian defence-tech solutions.
